Online Therapy

We believe in making therapy accessible, flexible and affordable for all, which means having the option to get treatment from the comfort of your home or office. We are currently able to provide online therapy to anyone physically located in New York State.

Many of our clients were participating in online therapy sessions before COVID-19 and find it preferable for the following reasons:

  • More scheduling flexibility
  • No commute time
  • Can do it from any place/environment (home, office, car, park, etc.)
  • More comfortable and less intimidating
  • Easier; less likely to miss appointments
  • Save money on commuting and parking

We go to great measure to make sure our telehealth platforms are secure and HIPAA-compliant as to maintain client confidentiality the same way we would if we were in an office.

Is Online Therapy For You?

It’s our ethical duty to only provide online therapy to those we feel will truly benefit from it, therefore we offer full transparency if we feel that online treatment is not the best fit for your situation.

We have found that those who benefit most from online therapy are dealing with the following issues:

It’s likely that we would encourage individuals dealing with the following issues to seek in-person treatment for more intensive support & can provide referrals and resources if we feel online therapy is not the most suitable option:

  • Severe depression
  • Suicidal ideation
  • Severe or recent trauma
  • Personality disorders
  • Dissociative disorders
  • Substance abuse
  • Domestic violence
